These three decades consist of a wonderful journey of learning and personal and professional growth that I want to share with you; who have made it possible.<\/p>\n<p>As I celebrate this anniversary of<em><strong> NeuroFT,<\/strong><\/em> I \u00a0feel nostalgic when I remember the teachings received by all patients and their reactions to the good vibes and scientific knowledge of those who with all love and dedication attended them in this period.<\/p>\n<p>I am extremely<strong> grateful<\/strong> for the \u00a0opportunity to help improve the quality of life for our patients. More than 4,000 of them &#8220;graduated&#8221; with certificate in hand in recognition of a substantial improvement of their ailment or condition. The<em><strong> NeuroFT Clinic Certificate<\/strong><\/em> represents functional independence and change in quality of life for the better, achieved.<\/p>\n<p>Over time, I have learned how different we human beings are. Both each patient and each colleague exhibit their own particularities. Understanding these differences has allowed me to treat each individual with<strong> empathy<\/strong>. Only by putting myself in the shoes of others and listening to them with an open mind, can I detect the details of their grief and treat them with empathy. <strong>\u00a0I thank<\/strong> \u00a0my <strong>\u00a0team<\/strong> and my<strong> patients<\/strong> for teaching me the value of empathy, the basis of the full mutual connection achieved. <strong>\u00a0Thanks a lot.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During these fifteen years I also learned to<strong> live in the present<\/strong>. For a long time, I only focused on planning and achieving future goals without realizing &#8220;&#8230; how life is spent, how death comes so silently&#8230;&#8221;\u00a0 Today I can affirm that my patients, with their good and not so good experiences, have shown me that it does not have to be like this: that<strong> life is enjoyed every moment, one day at a time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over the years, I have come to<strong> appreciate the strengths<\/strong> of each therapist on the<em> Neuroft<\/em> team.\u00a0 Now I value the skills of each one, but at the same time I point out opportunities for improvement. So I can focus on establishing more effective strategies, and above all, working to be a better mentor.<\/p>\n<p>I learned the unique importance of<strong> teamwork<\/strong>. By working towards the same goal, we achieve an impact on patients that is unattainable individually.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the team and the<strong> patients of<\/strong><em><strong> NeuroFT<\/strong><\/em> I have been distinguishing my strengths and weaknesses. Now I value teamwork and enjoy the present. Today, I consider myself a better person than I did 15 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>To everyone,<strong> thank you<\/strong>: to my <strong>\u00a0team<\/strong>, to my <strong>\u00a0patients<\/strong>, to the<strong> doctors<\/strong> we work with and, of course, to my family.
