CONGRATULATIONS TO Dr. Lisa Riggioni, DPT, NCS for obtaining the 10 year Re-certification of the Neurologic Specialty Certification

On behalf of the NeuroFT team, we would like to congratulate Dr. Lisa Riggioni, DPT, NCS for obtaining her prestigious NEUROLOGIC SPECIALTY re-certification after 10 years of being in practice with a special focus on helping & treating individuals with neurological disorders. Currently, the Neurologic Specialty Certification is a very prestigious & well-known specialty developed to help distinguish physical therapists with advanced knowledge and skills in specialty areas.  This Certification is awarded by the Neurologic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Dr. Riggioni obtained her Neurologic Specialty Certification back in 2007 when only about 500 physical therapists worldwide had this specialty. Today there is a total of approx. 2,000 clinical specialists worldwide who are specialized in the area of neurology. Furthermore, only a small percentage of the total current specialists continue to maintain their specialty (required every ten years) through rigorous testing & portfolio development demonstrating advanced and specialized knowledge and experience in the areas of clinical practice, education, & research.
